Lumonol Wisdom Review
Is This The Best Nootropic For The Senior Generation?
Lumonol is a well known nootropic supplement brand…. manufactured by Avanse Nutraceuticals it it is a popular supplement.
Avanse have recently released a new version of their product… called Wisdom, its aimed specifically at the senior generation – people who have lost their mental edge simply by getting older….
The makers tell us that Lumonol Wisdom can offer the following benefits:
- Improved Clarity
- Better memory
- Enhanced Focus
- Sharpened Focus
- Increase Alertness
- Reduced Fatigue
This list of claims is no different to many other products on the market, but can Lumonol Wisdom actually deliver??
I took a good in-depth look into this product – discover my findings below:
The Formula In Lumonol Wisdom
My first port of call is always the formula… this is the key to any product and the only real way to determine just how good ( or bad) a product can be…
Each serving of Lumonol Wisdom is made up from 3 undisclosed proprietary blends:
Clarity Blend totalling 550mg.. made up of unknown amounts of:
- Bacopa Leaf Extract
- CDP Choline
Vitality Blend totalling 200mg made up of unknown amounts of
- Panax Ginseng
- Oat Straw
Memory Blend totalling 310mg made up of unknown amounts of
- Gingko Biloba
- Huperzine A
Taking Lumonol Wisdom
The daily dose is 2 capsules a day
There is a distinct lack of actual user reviews out there… possibly due to the fact that Lumonol Wisdom is quite new…. I will keep my eyes out and if I come across any, I will post details here….
Where To Buy Lumonol Wisdom
You can order directly from the makers official website… a months supply will cost you $59.97 plus shipping… there are some larger packages with free shipping and discounted prices..
Any Cash Back Guarantees
The makers do provide a 90 day cash back guarantee.. This only applies to the first opened bottle however….any other bottles need to be returned full and unopened to qualify for a full refund ( less shipping)
I really dislike products that do not list their full formulas.. when their makers choose to hide the full ingredient details behind these unspecified blends, you have no idea just how much of anything is in the mix….
It is my genuine belief that Lumonol Wisdom is actually under powered… just looking at the blends tells its own story…
The Clarity Blend (550mg) Acetyl-L-Carnitine is generally accepted to be at its most effective when taken at doses of around 500mg…. if this is the amount of Alcar in the dose,(which i strongly doubt) it leaves no room whatsoever for the other two (Bacopa and CDP Choline) which also need to be taken at certain amounts to be effective…
The Memory Blend contains Gingko, Huperzine A, L-Theanine and Noopept
Now I do know that this blend contains 10mg of noopept, which leaves 300mg to be split between the other 3… how Huperzine A is usually only used in very small amounts ( recommended dose about 200mcg), this means that just under 300mg split between Gingko and L-Theanine.. which actually isn’t too bad dosage wise – it’s actually a decent strength for both ingredients…..
I am actually more concerned about the inclusion of Noopept.. at best its a strong and effective nootropic.. but it can be way too strong for some users, and whats more it has been linked to some rather unpleasant side effects that include:
Headaches, gastrointestinal problems, depression, and in extreme cases hallucinations…
The facts are that it is probably way too potent for many older people…
There are some decent ingredients in Lumonol Wisdom (ignoring Noopept for one moment) It just doesn’t look like there is actually enough of any of the key ingredients for it to have any real positive effects……
Quite Frankly There Are Better, More Effective Products Out There…
