Brain Nerd Nootropic Review

Brain Nerd Nootropic Review

After an exchange via my twitter page I was invited by the makers of Brain Nerd to try their supplement out for myself… I have just received my sample from them and will be taking it for 7 days at first with the aim of experiencing its effects.

Brain Nerd is a combination of both natural and made made nootropic ingredients,img_4197 that the makers will (they claim) provide an increase in blood flow throughout the brain, boosting oxygen levels, and replenishing and nurturing the neurotransmitters that pass messages and thoughts throughout the brain.

The official website leads with the tag line – ‘So Effective It Shouldn’t be Legal’ … well I hope my research and trial will find just how good, this product is going to be…

The Formula In Brain Nerd

Fair play to the guys behind Brain Nerd.. the formula is fully disclosed and is as follows:

  • DMAE 165mg
  • Choline 330mg
  • Aniractam 550mg
  • Noopept 30mg
  • Coconut Oil 165mg
  • Ginseng 165mg
  • Adrafinil 300mg

How To Take Brain Nerd

The daily serving is 2 capsules – Never take more than 4 capsules in a 24 hr period, and certainly do not take too late in the day, as it could cause problems with sleeping..The majority of users find that one capsule, followed by a second 2 hours later is the best way to take Brain Nerd..

img_4198Users Feedback

The official website displays a few reviews, looking elsewhere on Google there are few reports of improved focus, attention span, memory and concentration…In truth there are not that many independent reviews out there at the moment…

My Own Experiences with Brain Nerd

I am starting to take this product from tomorrow, and will come back after a week and add my initial thoughts and experiences…. Watch This Space..

Reported Side Effects

There are currently no reported side effects directly caused by the use of Brain Nerd, but I have to highlight the fact that some ingredients can carry some risks of side effects or health problems…

As an example, many medical experts only recommend that you take DMAE for a few days at a time ( certainly not on a daily basis) – It has been linked to problems such as migraines, insomnia and muscle tension when taken more than a few times a week… if you are pregnant, then you must NEVER take DMAE as it can potentially harm the development of your unborn babies brain.

Where To Buy Brain Nerd

Currently the only place that I could find that sells BrainNerd is the official website… there you can buy a single trial serving for $3.00, 6 servings for $19.95 and a full 30 day supply ( at 2 capsules per day) for $54.95

Any Cash Back Guarantees

The makers do offer a 15 day return and refund policy but it only applies to unopened, re-saleable packs… If you have tried it and you are not happy, it doesn’t look like you will get your money back…

My Thoughts.

I am going to be fair with this one ( as always), but I do have some concerns about this product…That is why I am only going to take it for 7 days at first…

Firstly, I am surprised that I was actually able to get this product shipped into the UK, as one of its ingredients (Noopept) was banned from general sale in the UK (along with other countries) during the clampdown on legal highs – It is still currently available but strictly on doctors prescription only… its not a natural nootropic product, it is a synthetic, man made brain booster originally developed in Russia…

It is supposed to be less harmful than Piracetam and despite the ban, is thought to be a pretty decent nootropic, although its best effects have (in trials) been limited to those suffering with brain illness… it has not been seen to be anywhere near as effective in those who are in normal good general health

Its dose per serving (30mg) is virtually the maximum recommended daily amount suggested by many experts, who also suggest that you shouldn’t take Noopept for any longer than 56 days at a time.

Its not clear as to what form of choline is in the mix, there are some very good forms as well as cheaper, less effective forms.. I have emailed the makers and have asked them to let me know exactly what form their choline comes in.. again – watch this space – I Must add that the makers have just responded and they tell me that they use Choline CDP

Adrafinil, is another synthetic supplement where long term supplementation is not recommended… its commonly used for the treatment of narcolepsy and excessive daytime sleepiness.. Experts do consider that it could be harmful to the liver…. Adrafinil and its sister product Modafinil are banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) for use by athletes during competition…

The Jury Is Most Certainly Out With This One…My Personal Thoughts Will Follow In 7 Days Time..
